Terms and Conditions
Confirmation of Reservation
The suites must be rented for 31 consecutive days to receive a corporate discount (a transient tax of 5% PST and 5% GST applies for all bookings less than 31 days).
To confirm a reservation we require a completed booking form together with authorization for either the full amount or 25% of the total rent (if your start date is more than 4 weeks away). The total apartment charges must be paid no later than 4 weeks prior to arrival unless otherwise agreed in writing. If you wish to extend the original reservation we require 7 days notice prior to your original departure date, unless otherwise agreed.
Method of Payment
We are pleased to accept the following methods of payment: Major credit cards including American Express (3.63% surcharge), VISA and Master Card (2.45% surcharge), Company Cheque or Bank Draft.
For reservations made within 4 weeks of arrival date then full payment, by cleared funds, is required at the time of booking.
Should payment not reach us within the required time we reserve the right to cancel any reservations made and the deposit will be forfeit.
Please note that under no circumstances do we accept cash as method of payment.
Accommodation & Occupancy
Although accommodation is confirmed in advance the exact apartment cannot be guaranteed prior to arrival.
Extra sleeping accommodation can be provided in some apartments at an additional charge.
Arrivals and Departures
Apartments are reserved from 4:00pm on the day of arrival to 11:00 am on the day of departure. All additional hours will be charged as one day unless otherwise agreed. Collection/delivery of keys and check-ins are during the hours of 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm Monday to Sunday. If your arrival times fall outside of these times, please give us a minimum of 72 hours notice in order to co-ordinate the necessary arrangements.
Cancellation/Arrival delay
If the client does not pay the balance due at the prescribed time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. In this event, or if the client cancels after the booking is confirmed, the deposit and booking fee will be forfeited. Additionally, if a cancellation is made 30 days prior to the arrival date and acknowledged by us, then full refund will be refunded. Where notice of cancellation/arrival delay is received less than 30 days prior to the arrival, refunds are made at our discretion and subject to the apartment being rented. No refunds will be made for non-arrivals. Cancellations must be made in writing. Additional dates may be reserved based on availability of apartment.
Duration
Clients who do not stay for the full period of their booking will be charged for the full duration, unless otherwise agreed and subject to the accommodation being rented. Any refunds are at our discretion and subject to the deduction of an administration fee. Clients are advised to take out adequate travel insurance.
Telephone Charges
The apartment is equipped with a local only phone service. All long distance calls must be completed at clients expense.
Security deposit / End of tenancy charges - Clients are required to sign a Contents Item List and Occupancy Agreement form. This form makes the client liable for any loss of or damage to apartment contents during their stay. The cost of any damage that occurs during your stay, as well as any outstanding or additional charges incurred will be applied to your credit card account. We will notify you of the charges prior to deducting from your credit card.
Please note that your accommodation charges cover an end of tenancy clean of up to four hours. Any time beyond this you will be subject to a minimum charge of $40.00.
Loss or Damage
The Raleigh Street Executive Suites or its affiliate companies cannot be held responsible in any way for loss of, or damage to any personal belongings at the property. Nor can we be held liable for the acts or defaults caused by third parties. You are advised to ensure your own insurance policies cover loss or damage to personal property during your stay.
Pets
We regret that pets are not allowed in our apartments.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any of The Raleigh Street Executive Suites. A charge of $100.00 will be applied to the applicable credit card each time management detects tobacco smoke of any kind inside the apartment.
Cleaning & Linen
We will provide fresh linen and towels to your apartment on the days specified by us. Weekly cleaning will commence from 10.00 am on the specific day. If the cleaners are turned away for any reason, then the cleaning will not be re-scheduled until the following week.
Services
The Raleigh Street Executive Suites cannot be held responsible for any failure or interruption of services to the apartment, including internet, electricity, heating and water, or any damage, disruption or noise caused as a result of repair works being carried out in another part of the property. |
